I was born and raised in Romania, where I lived until the summer of 2011. Having made the decision to move to Germany, my family and I left everything behind and settled in a fabulous village near Cologne.

My life in Germany has been a veritable roller coaster, with ups and downs, with steep slopes and very sudden bends. Nevertheless, living here has provided me with opportunities to grow and develop, both in my personal and professional life.

I began working as a teacher immediately after graduating from university in 2002. Teaching has always been a calling for me, not just a mere job. How do I know this? Well, if you find yourself lying awake at 2:00 in the morning, contemplating ways of bringing joy and passion for learning in your students' minds and hearts, you have figured out what teaching is really about.

My philosophy in life is simple: in a world where you can be anything, be kind!
